FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bellevue, WA — May 6, 2026
SBW Consulting, a women-owned Pacific Northwest energy efficiency engineering and evaluation firm, today announced it is rebranding as Lattice Energy Works.
The new name reflects where the firm is headed. For 35 years, we have helped utilities, agencies, and building owners design energy strategies that work in practice and hold up under scrutiny. Lattice Energy Works carries that forward.
“Our north star is helping people thrive by getting more from our energy,” said Faith DeBolt, CEO of Lattice Energy Works. “The name Lattice Energy Works captures how we think about that mission. In a lattice, every connection strengthens the whole. That’s how energy systems work, and that’s how we work.”
New building performance standards in Washington State and cities nationwide are creating unprecedented demand for firms with deep technical expertise in energy measurement and compliance. Lattice Energy Works has been involved in building performance standards from the beginning and works with utilities and building owners to design compliance strategies that are technically sound, operationally feasible, and defensible under review.
Lattice Energy Works (formerly SBW Consulting) strengthens energy strategy from design through results. With 35 years of experience, the firm brings deep engineering credibility to energy efficiency program design, measurement and verification, impact evaluation, policy support, and building performance standards compliance.
Lattice Energy Works is an independently owned, certified Women and Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE) headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
