Building Performance Specialist
Megan leads Lattice Energy’s Building Performance Standards (BPS) compliance service delivery team. As a Qualified Energy Manager, she has worked with facility directors and management teams for Washington State Clean Buildings Performance Standard Tier 1 and Tier 2 facilities to make the compliance process more pain-free and beneficial for the long-term health and budget of the building. Her building system analysis using Lattice’s Energy Charting & Metrics (ECAM) tool contributed to a 30% reduction in building energy usage for an 87,000 sq ft. building covered by Seattle Building Tune-Ups. Megan has also led building energy and policy assessments to chart the course toward decarbonization for dual Seattle Building Emissions Performance Standard and CBPS compliance. She has presented works to the Northwest Strategic Energy Management Fall Workshop, American Institute of Architects Committee on the Environment, and the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Building Science Technology at South Seattle College and a B.A. in Anthropology with minors in Architecture and Environmental Studies from the University of Washington.
